SSC CHSL Recruitment 2023
Notification for the recruitment of about 1600 posts of Junior Division Clerk (Lower Division Clerk – LDC), Data Entry Operator (DEO), Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA) in various Ministries, Departments and Organizations of Government of India.
Higher Secondary (10+2) Notification 2023 to be conducted by Staff Selection Commission was released on Tuesday, May 9, 2023.
With the release of SSC CHSL 2023 notification, the application process has also started, which will continue till June 8, 2023. Interested candidates can apply at SSC website ssc.nic.in.
Examination Fee and Payment Procedure For SSC CHSL 2023
Candidates have to pay the prescribed fee of Rs.100 through online mode while applying for CHSL exam.
SC, ST and disabled candidates as well as women candidates of all categories need not pay the fee.
Candidates have to pay the fee online by June 10.
In offline mode, the fee can be paid through bank challan till 12th June, but for this the candidates have to generate the challan by the prescribed last date i.e. 8th June.
Candidates who have submitted the application along with the prescribed procedure and fee will be able to make corrections or necessary corrections in their applications between 14th and 15th June, 2023.
Who can apply for SSC CHSL 2023?
Candidates who wish to apply for this recruitment exam must have passed 12th standard exam from a recognized board.
Also, the age of the candidates should not be less than 18 years and not more than 27 years as on 1st August 2023. It means that the candidate should be born before 2nd August 1996 and not after 1st August 2005.
However, upper age limit relaxation will be given to reserved category candidates as per central government rules, see recruitment notification for more information and other details.

How will the exam be conducted for SSC CHSL 2023?
This exam of Staff Selection Commission will be computer based exam. Which will be taken in two parts.
- Tier-I
- Tier-II
In Tier-I your paper will carry 200 marks and will have 100 questions. This paper will be of 60 minutes duration. Tier-I will consist of Advanced Language (50 Marks), General Intellectual Ability (50 Marks), Quantitative Aptitude (50 Marks) ane General Awareness (50 Marks).
In Tier-II there will be total two sessions Session-1 and Session-2. Session-1 will cover subjects like Mathematics, Reasoning, General Intelligence, English Language and Comprehension, General Awareness. Session-1 will be of 2 hours 15 minutes duration.
In Tier-II, Skill Test/Typing Test will be conducted in Session-2 based on module based examination.
